Triveni Dham is a holy pilgrimage site established by Saint Ganga Das Ji in the seventeenth century. This place has been the place of penance of various brilliant saints.
Among these saints, Khojidwaracharya Brahmapeethadhiswar Kathia Parivaracharya Narayan Das Ji was a saint due to whom this place got not only national but also international recognition. He dedicated his entire life in the field of education, health, public welfare and spirituality.
Due to these philanthropic works, he was honored with Padma Shri in the year 2018. Narayan Das Ji Maharaj was born in Vikram Samvat 1984 (1927 AD) on Saka Ashwin Budi Saptami Saturday in Chimanpura village in a Gaud Brahmin family. His father's name was Ram Dayal Sharma and mother's name was Bhuri Bai.
He had tuberculosis in his childhood, then his mother Bhuri Devi, taking inspiration from Maa Mandalasa and Maa Mainavati, dedicated him to the feet of Saint Baba Bhagwan Das Ji of Triveni Dham.
After Bhagwan Das Ji left for Saket Dham, Narayan Das Ji became the Peethadheeshwar of Triveni Dham in Vikram Samvat 2028 (1971 AD). Narayan Das Ji Maharaj was anointed as Brahmpeethadhieshwar at the original Brahmpeeth of Dakor on Paush Budi Ekam Vikram Samvat 2055 (1998 AD).
He dedicated his entire life to the works of public welfare. He built schools and colleges for education, hospitals for health and renovated temples for religious works.
On Saturday, 17 November 2018, at the age of 94, he left his body and ascended to heaven. On 17 December 2018, the Charan Paduka of Narayandasji Maharaj was established in the presence of Jagatguru Hans Vasudevacharya and Jagatguru Shri Ji Shyam Sharan Acharya Maharaj at Triveni Dham.
