There have been many places in Sikar district, out of which the name of one place is prominently taken which is known as Pachar place. This place is about 17 kilometers away from the famous Khatushyamji town.
This town has its own historical importance. The ancient forts, palaces, mansions and temples etc. present here are present as heritage. Today we tell you about the Pachar Fort present here.
There is a rampart outside this fort in which a big door is present. On coming inside the door, this fort is seen on the front side and the palace is seen on the left side.
If we talk about the history here, then according to the information received, the fort of Pachar was built by Thakur Bhim Singh in 1725 AD.
His successor Thakur Guman Singh is considered a great warrior who sacrificed his life by participating on behalf of the Jaipur estate in the famous Maonda Mandholi Battle fought between Jaipur and Bharatpur princely states.
It is said about his bravery in the war that while fighting on the battlefield, his head was cut off but he continued fighting even after his head was cut off.
Seeing his bravery, he and his successors were awarded the title of "Sarkar" by the Jaipur state. Thakur Sarkar Gopal Singh started the construction of the palace which was completed by Thakur Sarkar Ganpat Singh.
In the year 1995, this palace was converted into a heritage hotel due to which many domestic and foreign tourists saw and understood the culture of Shekhawati closely.
